The Dynamic Excel Data Tool Project was initiated to address several challenges faced by the Department of Correctional Service’s Learnership Programme. It aims to improve the consistency and accuracy of statistical reporting which had been plagued by inconsistencies across different regions. Additionally, the project sought to enhance the quality of responses to parliamentary questions and audit queries, which were previously suboptimal due to data discrepancies.
