The Groote Schuur Hospital Data Centre

The Groote Schuur Hospital Information Management Unit developed a new system of in-house Functional Business Unit report generation, to improve management and oversight of the hospital’s operations budget and revenue according to strategic priorities. This included development of onsite and cloud data storage; creation of new data collection tools and methods; renewed emphasis on income categorisation; case management and revenue generation focus.
